Undated but looks to be 1930 1st edition of Mary Howard's rare first book; tightly bound in red cloth with black lettering to spine and black border to front; spine slightly faded; light wear to edges and corners; faint marks to back panel. Page fore-edges yellowed with a little light foxing. Internally, light, pale foxing to front paste-down and free endpaper with a little of the same on following page; owner's address blind-stamped at top of front free endpaper; just a few small discolouration spots elsewhere; otherwise, a clean, tidy copy - almost VG. Used - Good. Good hardback (no dust jacket)
