mvt dd23 - Internal rotor ignition with light MVT Digital Direct 19 internal rotor ignition with light for 2-stroke Chinese scooters (CPI / Keeway etc.) MVT Digital Direct - Top performance plus light The MVT Digital Direct ("MVT DD" for short) is a digital internal rotor ignition with variable ignition timing, i.e. the ignition timing changes via the CDI depending on the engine speed in order to provide maximum power at any given time. It is primarily intended for use with racing or high-end setups 70cc and higher. The main advantage of the MVT DD ignition is that it is equipped with a 12-volt 55-watt output. Unlike many other internal rotor ignitions, you can retain lighting and on-board electronics with this ignition. Performance is noticeably improved, particularly in terms of power band and responsivity. Adjusting and calibrating the MVT DD ignition First remove the original ignition and install the MVT Digital Direct ignition properly. Do not tighten the stator and rotor until the ignition has been adjusted. Use a micrometer or a TDC dial gauge to set the following parameters: 0.4 mm before TDC for original stroke and 0.35 mm for long stroke. Then connect the ignition to the wiring harness so that the vehicle lighting works (see assembly instructions). If you need even more power, you can combine the ignition with the MVT Eprom Box to select the appropriate ignition curve.
