"This collage of harbor plans on the northern part of Japan's Tsushima Island was published in March 1945 by the United States Navy Hydrographic Office. Base maps taken from early 20th-century Japanese surveys were reproduced and updated with additional information as it became available. Five different charts note depth soundings, lines of magnetic delineation, currents, and coastal features. Topography is shown in contour. The sheet, marked Restricted, has a rubberstamp in the left margin indicating it "contains information affecting the national defense of the United States" and should be destroyed by burning when superseded or rescinded." Sheet Width (in) 36 Sheet Height (in) 27.25 Condition Description Light spotting and visible toning down the vertical centerfold. Additional spotting and some wrinkling also present in the margins. Good to very good condition overall. Blank on verso.
