[5], vi-vii, [3], 3-158, [4] pp. Black cloth with red lettering and red, blue, and black decorations on the front board (meant to imitate the Lusitania's smoke stacks), red lettering on the spine. Illustrated with a black and white photograph frontispiece. With a bookseller's tag from Charles E. Lauriat Co. Importers & Booksellers. Lauriat's memoir was one of the most famous survivor's accounts of the Lusitania disaster. This event would help draw the United States into World War I, two years later. Notable fraying to the spine, some rubbing to the boards, a name dated 1915 on the free front endpaper.
