The Orange tree is the symbol of fertility, abundance (because Orange trees produce flowers and fruit simultaneously), innocence and marriage par excellence, it is also the emblem of eternal love. In fact, it was common custom for the bride to wear the orange blossom in some way or have it in her bouquet on her wedding day. This tradition originated in China but it was Queen Victoria, one of the most prestigious clients of Houbigant, who affirmed this tradition by wearing a crown of orange blossoms on her wedding day in 1840.
