A Vintage 'Celebrity Coat Hanger' Featuring A Cut-Out Head-And-Shoulders Portrait Of Jimi Hendrix Hendrix, Jimi British Isles,Music

London, 'Manufactured exclusively by Saunders Enterprises', [circa 1967]. A double-sided stiff cardboard cut-out with a black and white portrait printed on paper mounted on both sides, as issued (maximum height 432 mm, maximum width 375 mm). Minimal rubbing to the extremities and some light surface scuffing; one bottom corner slightly bumped; overall, in excellent condition, clearly not used for the purpose for which it was designed (the trouser slot is unbroken), and probably as fine as they come these days. The portrait of Jimi Hendrix is by Gered Mankowitz, from a classic series shot in two sessions at his London studio in early 1967. Saunders may have had Enterprises but they didn't have a Hendrix fan on the staff: they have named their celebrity in this instance 'Jimmi Hendrix'.
