Rapid-Setting, Waterproof PU Wood Adhesive for Interior & Exterior Applications EVERBUILD® Lumberjack® 5 Minute Polyurethane Wood Adhesive Gel is a high-performance, thixotropic, gap-filling adhesive that sets hard in just 5 minutes. At least one surface must be porous. Roughen non-porous surfaces to provide a key for the adhesive. Moistening: Slightly moisten one surface with a damp cloth to assist curing. Do not over-wet. Application: Cut the tip of the cartridge, attach the nozzle, and cut an aperture to the required width. Apply using a standard sealant gun. Bonding: Apply the adhesive to one surface and bring the two surfaces together immediately. Apply even pressure across the bond line. Clamping: Clamp the bonded materials for at least 30 minutes to ensure a strong bond. Limitations Not suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon, or nylon. At least one surface must be porous for effective bonding. Application temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C. Wood moisture content should not exceed 30% w/w. Setting times may be extended at low temperatures and low humidity. Cleaning of Tools Clean tools and excess adhesive immediately with acetone or white spirit. Cured adhesive must be removed mechanically.
