quick turn throttle Quick action simply means that it takes a shorter stroke, and in turn reduced wrist rotation, to go from zero to wide open. This is very helpful in racing engines with bigger carburetors as the slider is opened more quickly and might give you more power quick enough to win. It is equally useful for everyday riders as it is simply easier on the wrist and palm.
