Step 2: Use a hydraulic jack (jacks from spare tire kits won't be sufficient) and jack stands to lift your front two wheels off the ground. Step 3: Remove your tires and raise your suspension with a floor jack on the axle so that the spring is compressed slightly. Step 4: Remove the spring retaining clip, shocks and sway bar link.
