Contains several full-page black and white illustrations. Title page also states 'Routledge's Christmas Annual'. Pages are heavily tanned and thumbed at the edges. Heavy foxing throughout. Hinges are cracked, with exposed string and a loose binding. Rear pastedown is peeling away from boards. Inscription to front endpaper. Slight stains to page edges. Boards have been heavily rub worn with heavy shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and heavily frayed and spine ends are crushed, with some small splits and chips. Heavy water marks to boards and spine. Intense peeling and loss to spine cloth and paper coverings. Faint traces of label to front. Partial handwritten spine label.
