Nice 19th century lithographed map with original hand color. Based on the Colton 1855 map. With a 2" tear in the wide blank margins at top and bottom of map, now nicely closed on reverse with archival tape. Nice looking example, pleasing age patina, any minor age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Original center fold as issued. Sheet Measures c. 17 1/8" x 28". Printed Area Measures c. 15 3/4" x 25".
