Over-Sized Signed Photograph Of The Supreme Court The Warren Court (1960) Americana,Law,Supreme Court

Exceptional over-sized silver gelatin photograph by Fabian Bachrach of the 1960 United States Supreme Court, adhered to the photographer's custom-made mount and signed by entire court: Chief Justice Earl Warren and Associate Justices: William O. Douglas, Hugo L. Black, Felix Frankfurter, Tom C. Clark, Charles E. Whittaker, John M. Harlan II, William J. Brennan, jr, and Potter Stewart. The photograph measures 13 1/4" x 10 1/4", the signed mounting is 16" x 14". The gold and black wood frame measure 18" x 16", using archival acrylic in lieu of glass. This photograph differs from Bachrach's official 1960 Supreme Court photo; most notably in the posing of the Justice's hands. It is believed that Bachrach personally preferred this image and chose it when having the Court sign an example.
