This excerpt from Moby Dick was likely printed to take advantage of the wellspring of interest in Moby Dick following the release of the popular John Barrymore film released the previous year, or, to show how much the photoplay strayed from the particulars and ambiguities of Melville's tale - or both. A somewhat scarcer title in the series, especially in the earliest state as with this copy. Very good with some minor fading and rubbing to wraps.
