Hardcover. Three-volume set. Large, half-leather bound volumes; leather spine and corners. V1: 1891-1892; includes the following issues - February (Volume 1, Number 1) through November 1891 (there was no December issue) , and January through March, 1892. V2: 1892-1893; includes the following issues - April through December 1892, and January through March 1893. V3: 1893-1894; includes the following issues - April through September (missing the October issue) and November through December 1893, and January through February 1894. There is also one issue at the rear of V3 entitled Campbell's Illustrated Monthly (Volume IV, Number 1, June, 1894). The leather is dry; with chipping, and cracked along the spine edges (but the hinges are strong and sturdy). The backstrip of both V1 and V2 has separated all along the rear edge, and is loose (but currently remains attached along the front edge). The covers of all issues are bound-in. Most covers are pink, but some have color illustrations. The pages are somewhat age-toned. There is some staining in the upper margins of the pages of V1; and two pages have stuck together at the top ~1/2", causing some chipping at the edges of these two pages. Else the pages are clean.
