Third edition from 1715. The first two editions were published in 1712. The title panel is missing from the spine - the words can be made out and it was actually fixed upside down. There is chipping at the top and bottom of the spine with some cracking to the edges but the binding is secure. The corners are bumped with some rubbing and there is light surface wear to the front and rear panels. Browning to the page edges. Browning to the endpapers with the name of a previous owner in ink to the front free endpaper - Lady Wale of Shelford near Cambridge. Two other Wale family names to the endpapers. There is quite heavy browning to the first and last few pages and browning and spotting to the pages throughout the book but they are otherwise generally unmarked.
