Shallow Graves. A Location Scout Mystery Jefferies, William [Pseudonym Of Deaver, Jeffery (Born 1950)] James Bond 007

[Crime novel] FIRST EDITION, SIGNED by the author. A paperback original. Octavo (18 x 11cm), pp.261; [7]. Publisher's illustrated softcovers, priced at $4.50. Autograph of Jeffery Deaver to title page, also signing his nom-de-plume. Cheap paper gently toned as expected else fine. The first John Pellam/Location Scout murder mystery, from the future James Bond novelist and winner of the 2004 Ian Fleming Steel Dagger Award. From the comprehensive Ian Fleming bibliographical archive assembled by Jon Gilbert, with his pencilled ownership. A particularly rare book with no other copies currently available for sale (not to be confused with the Pocketbooks edition which boldly acknowledges Deaver on the title page). Acquired from Otto Penzler, publisher of Mr Deaver. Gilbert, p.613.
