This is the first issue of the All Japan Solomon Association magazine. The association was founded in 1965 by the veterans of the 17th Corps, which fought mainly in the Bismarck and Solomon Archipelago during the Pacific War. It still exists and issues the publication three times a year. The association published this first issue in June 1975. The magazine cover features a photograph of Admiral Yamamoto's plane wreckage in Bougainville, and includes several articles on the battle of Guadalcanal by the Japanese survivors. It also includes some updates on collecting the war dead remains on the islands and war pension information. A huge number of Japanese soldiers died in the area during the Pacific War, and this magazine provided means of communication among the veterans and bereaved families.
