With a line-block reproduction of a drawing of a loom by Dame Laurentia Fullmer printed in orange, text printed in black and orange in Monotype Lutetia on T H Saunders cream mould-made paper. Copy 92 of 300, initialled by Dame Hildelith to the colophon, sewn and glued into Japanese patterned paper wrappers with a design of leaves and grasses in white, green, blue and orange on a brown background. A companion volume to 'Mary's Spinning' of 1970, although physically the books have little in common - it was intended to use the same Japanese paper as the previous book but stocks had run out (Butcher). Nevertheless a classic smaller Stanbrook publication, beautifully presented in Japanese paper wrappers (various designs were used) and one of the very few Stanbrook books to bear Dame Hildelith's initials or signature.
