[Biography] FIRST LIMITED INSCRIBED EDITION. Two volumes. Octavo (23 x 16cm), pp.iv; 442, pp.443-826. Photographic soft covers. Signed by the author to both title pages, copy number 75/250. Some marking to covers, rolling to base of spines, marking to edges of vol.II textblock. Very good. John Forester was the eldest son of C. S. Forester. Throughout the book, he aims to shed light on his father's life touching on the subjects of schooling as well as his later life. Both volumes are signed by the author in black ink to the first page. The inscription reads: 'To T. C. Hickman | John Forester'. Also on the front page, it is recorded that this is number 75 of only a limited print run of 250.
