These are low profile zinc plated with half hexagonal and half round body nutserts which provides easier installation, they are also called hex inserts or hexserts. When installed into a corresponding hole, the corners of the inserts expand to fill the hole providing exceptional resistance to spinning.Hex inserts are for applications where fastener failure is not an option requiring prevailing torque locking screws.
