This book has been plundered for maps and some other plates but retains 108 plates, often with more than one engraving, showing views of buildings etc. and some other subjects. There are 240 unpaginated text pages, plus i-iv and a 42 page General History of Antient Castles, Forts etc. at the rear. The plates include a frontispiece which is a bit soiled and tatty but the rest are in excellent condition, no foxing or stains, printed on pleasantly stout laid paper. Plain blue cloth binding with a few scars from removed maps, but otherwise sound. A heavy book, will need extra shipping cost outside the UK.
