A fine, bright copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the bright, clean dustwrapper, a little rubbed to spine tips, with three short closed tears to edges (the longest c. 1 cm). An excellent example. Auden and Kallman's translation of Emanuel Schikaneder's original German libretto for Mozart's final opera was commissioned for a new television production of the work mounted to celebrate the bicentenary of the composer's birth.
