Malossi Reed VL14 Racing reed valve Malossi MHR VL14. This reed valve from the MHR series is perfect for racing. Supplied with Venturi insert and carbon blades, but without stops. The vulcanized rubber surface has excellent sealing properties to prevent backwash and low crankcase pressure. The Venturi stuffer will optimize flow and improve cylinder filling and performance. Suitable for scooters with Minarelli horizontal / China 2-stroke engine. Performance increase with spacer For even higher performance, we recommend placing a 5mm spacer underneath the reed block. The spacer, by adding 5mm, pulls the tips of the petals back out of the flow and increases intake tract length which in turn will result in improved performance at high rpm.
