The Puppet Masters Robert A. Heinlein

The Puppet Masters by Robert A. Heinlein. Published by Doubleday Science Fiction,1952. This appears to be a later first edition or early second edition for a book that was copyrighted and published for the first time in 1951. The book has a beige/gray cloth cover and what looks like some possible water damage along the bottom of many of the pages. That damage has caused some modest discoloration to the bottom of the pages but all of the text is clear as the day it was printed. The strange sci-fi dust jacket, which shows a man who appears to be waiting for his puppet master to provide him with instructions, shows some wear with some nicks and bruises, a small tear and a small hole on the spine.
