Original pen and ink drawing for the endpapers of Arthur Rackham's illustrated edition of The Compleat Angler, 1923. 12 1/4 x 20 inches (41 x 50 cm); pen and india ink on watercolor paper with a sepia wash, signed (l.r.), the drawing laid to board, probably as presented by the artist (as the sepia extends in places to the card mount). The work was published by George C. Harrap in 1931. Rare original Rackham art.
