A delightful book with a verse and blue/white illustration on every other page (each on the subject of days of the week, celebration days, the weather, countryside locals, or household items), with blue/white illustrations of decorated plates on their facing pages. The cover is a little dusty and worn along the edges with some light spotting; Inside the book on the end papers is the book plate of author and collector Nigel Temple,the front end paper has some staining, discoloration; prelims have some spotting; the contents are a little shaken and front hinge cracking, else good.
