An Alphabet AVRO-BISON To Zombie Parker, Robert Andrew Book Arts

Robert Andrew Parker (1927-2023). Portfolio of 26 etchings, with two additional etchings on title and colophon pages, lacking the title plate. (Labeled Alphabet II", curiously, as Parker's "Amazons to Zapata: An Alphabet" was issued in 2009.) Limited to 15 copies, this copy numbered 15 and signed by Parker on the colophon. Housed in a commercially produced black clamshell box with Parker's handmade label. Plates prepared and printed by Anthony Kirk; hand coloring with watercolor by artist. Portfolio likely assembled by Parker himself in his studio, which might account for why the title page is lacking, Scarce. Not in Tom Whitridge's "incomplete" bibliography of Parker's works. ALPHABET BOOKS.
