Dated 1844, this is an early printing of Walker's hand coloured map of England and Wales, taking in part of Southern Scotland, mounted on linen and dissected into 35 panels , the map measures 52 inches by 41 inches approx., folding down into its slipcase measuring 10.5 inches by 6.5 inches approx. The slipcase has some splitting along one edge and other edge wear, the map has and small ink mark in the sea area of the map, some other light marking, else in good general condition
