Very attractive older full polished calf, gilt extra back in six gilt paneled compartments, gilt lettered in the second and fourth, the rest in full gilt ornamentation, sides with blind roll tooled borders within gilt double fillets on all sides enclosing quadruple gilt line roll tooled frames around plain center panels, marbled edges and endpapers. Very good+ clean bright condition, strong joints with all bands holding, front joint lower partial crack, corners bumped and with some wear to edges and extremities, lower end cap chipped. Sheets with minor foxing almost all to the preliminary and ending sheets. Ghost of plate removal from front free endpaper. No owner names or inscriptions, unmarked, complete.
