Mark and drill the fixing hole; fit using the supplied carriage bolt, washer and nut. Do not overtighten. Check the loop throws freely and fully engages when the gates meet; adjust as needed. For extra security, combine with drop bolts at the bottom of each gate (sold separately). Limitations & Precautions Not a locking device—use a separate lock/hasp if tamper resistance is required. Ensure gates are aligned and hung correctly so the loop can engage smoothly. Periodically check and re-tighten fixings after initial settling.
