This volume contains the results of a meeting held at the Geological Society of London on the theme of North Atlantic Palaeoceanography. Marine geologists, biostratigraphers, sedimentologists and geochemists met to discuss the atmospheric and oceanic history of the North Atlantic in the Mesozoic and Cenozoic. They reviewed the published and unpublished results of the most recent deep ocean drilling carried out by the Glomar Challenger.
