Docteur Valnet cists are shrubs that grow most often in the Mediterraneo. In fact, they love dry and sunny soils (generally siliceous but also calcareous). Furthermore, they have the particularity of easily regenerating and even multiplying after fires. Suffice it to say that the Mediterranean scrub, often affected by forest fires, is flanked by cist woods that flourish between the primavera and summer (April-June).
