Perris Bergamotto di Calabria contains the precious raw material Bergamot sponge whose extraction is still carried out through a manual process by cutting the fruit in half and removing the pulp with a special curved cutter. Then compressing the peel on a natural sponge with a rotary movement in order to collect the essence. The essence that is obtained is the best part, more delicate and more complex than that extracted with the peeler and is characterized by fruity and floral notes of jasmine. A return to the origins and traditional extraction techniques has allowed us to capture the best of the excellent raw materials enriching them with a touch of modernity to compose a bouquet that contains the freshness of bergamot making it, after a long work, persistent and energetic.
