Ideal For Perimeter pointing around wooden and metal window and door frames Re-pointing brickwork Bedding window or door frames into their surrounds Product Details Packaging: Available in 3kg and 6kg tubs Colours: Red and Stone Application Method: Apply using a trowel Drying Time: Surface skin forms in 7 to 28 days, depending on conditions Overpainting: Can be overpainted with oil-based paints after skin formation Application Instructions Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or other contaminants. Application: Use a thin pointing trowel or putty knife to apply the product, working it thoroughly into the joint to eliminate voids. Smooth the finish into a triangular fillet. Joint Dimensions: For fillet pointing between the frame and surround, joints should have a minimum width of 10 mm and a minimum depth of 6 mm. Overpainting: Once a surface skin has formed, the product can be fully protected with an undercoat and topcoat. Allow 28 days for drying before overpainting, using only oil-based paints. Limitations Not suitable for use on plastic frames or heat-absorbing glass Do not apply to wet or damp surfaces Not recommended for internal use Cleaning of Tools Clean tools immediately after use with white spirit. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
