"Bad Worishofen is a small spa town in southern Bavaria (Bad is German for Bath) that fell within the American zone of occupation after World War II. It was the site of a displaced persons camp for victims of the Nazi regime, mostly Lithuanians and Ukrainians, and hosted numerous occupying units. This sketch map of the city was drafted by a member of the 80th Infantry Division, probably in early 1946. Various locations of interest are outlined and labeled; including military installations (motor pool, command posts, etc.), recreational opportunities (movie theater, NCO Clubs), and medical facilities. The HQ of Colonel Normandy Costello and Lieutenant Colonel Dudley Ives are also named. Several of the buildings, including the movie theater, can still be seen today. Source."
