A complete set, comprising Thera I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VI + VI plates and plans, VII. All volumes are first editions except Thera VI which is a 1977 reprint. Volumes I and II have the title, date and author inked to front cover, this is also written to the spine of Volumes I-III. Pencilled notes to rear cover of Volumes I and II. All volumes have pencilled margin markings. Rubbing and slight creasing to covers of Volumes V-VII. The plates volume is complete with all 11 plates and 7 plans. From the private collection of renowned British archaeologist Sinclair Hood with his name to first page of Volumes IV, V and VII. Volume VI is inscribed by Spyridon Marinatos's wife Emily (the author died in 1974). A hard to find complete set, with nice provenance. Overall condition is Good Plus.
