London: John Murray, 1933. 8vo. Orig. burgundy cloth binding with pictorial "Rose" stamp. Gilt. Dustjacket (chipped with small tears). (362pp.). Signed by the author, "Grant R. Francis" with dedication to A.C. Macpherson of Cluny, the last "Lady Cluny." Previous owner was Ian F. Macpherson, (Macpherson Clan, Cluny Castle). Associated ephemera includes a handwritten letter by the author to previous owner (1934) & Sydney Morning Herald clipping about "Bonnie Prince Charlie." Black and white illustrations. First edition. Moderate foxing throughout, otherwise fair condition. NOTE: Grant Francis was an acclaimed Scottish author who wrote about Scottish Royalty.
