Seu de Hastis Veterum, this title also precedes the text in Part I. Small 4to, approximately 205 x 155 mm, 8 x 6 inches, title vignette, 25 full page engravings, 28 smaller engravings, all of weapons and warriors of Roman times, lances, spears, javelins, chariots, cavalry, boats and many of ancient coins showing these things, pages: [4], 1-179, [2], 1-140, bound in full antique calf, rebacked to style with raised bands, gilt rules and gilt lettering, all edges speckled red, original endpapers retained. Covers slightly scuffed, corners slightly worn with board showing at tips, endpapers slightly browned at edges, a few pages lightly age-browned, slight offsetting from some illustrations, otherwise a very good clean tight copy.
