Seal: Apply tape (2-3 clockwise wraps) or sealant paste to nipple threads. 2. Hand-Tighten First: Screw connector into first fitting by hand until snug. 3. Wrench-Tighten First: Hold fitting, turn connector 1-2 full turns past hand-tight (avoid over-tightening). 4. Seal & Hand-Tighten Second: Apply sealant to exposed adapter threads. Hand-tighten second fitting. 5. Wrench-Tighten Second: Hold adapter, turn second fitting 1-2 full turns past hand-tight. Check Alignment: Ensure pipes/fittings are straight. Pressure Test: Test system for leaks (e.g. soapy water) before use. Never test gas lines without a professional. Tools: Two wrenches, tape or sealant paste. Crucial: Use sealant.
