It is supplied with a 47.6 mm piston, two-piece HC cylinder head and adapter plate for the external studs . The CNC-machined adapter plate is screwed onto the engine housing and holds the cylinder via external stud bolts. This eliminates the need for continuous stud bolts, which in turn clears the way for further performance-enhancing modifications to the exhaust and transfer ports. The thermic properties are excellent - the combustion chamber insert is bolted to the cylinder at five points, each bolt is cooled by its own cooling pocket. The critical areas at the stud bolts are thus stabilized and the risk of piston seizure is minimized.
