Lincoln The Unknown: The Most Astounding Story In American History Dale Carnegie (Author Signed) Americana,Biographies,Philosophy/Management/Leadership

Forest Hills Publishing Co., Forest Hills, NY. c1932. Hardcover. Edition/Printing not stated. Signed by the author on an award plate for a Carnegie class 439 that is pasted to the FFFP. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Very Good; bumping and light wear to head and tail; light shelfwear to tips. No DJ. Green laminate boards and spine with bright red and green lettering on the spine and front board; Lincoln picture and Civil war illustration on boards. Clean internals. Inner hinges are sound and not split. 305 pp 8vo. This book is a biography of Abraham Lincoln that Carnegie wrote in 1932. It is published by Dale Carnegie and Associates, and given out as a prize in many of the the Dale Carnegie Courses, as was this one. It is one of the best books ever written about Lincoln which chronicles his inner life and struggles, his life of poverty, and how he went from a pauper to become the president. It also tells how he emerged from obscurity and became the Republican nominee at the 1860 Chicago convention, was a great teller of tell humorous stories, and that he was an avid reader of Shakespeare. A clean very presentable copy.
