The Tin Drum : First Printing Grass, Gunter

True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (30s). Translated from the German by Ralph Manheim. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, very small patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), creasing/rubbing to edges, numerous marks, patchy browning (including to spine), a few very small (largest approx. 5mms) tears, a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, a little creasing/rubbing/browning to front/back inner flaps, the odd mark/spot of foxing to reverse (white side) and is in only good condition. Boards are only good with the odd small bump, (severe) pushing/bumping to the two top corners, minor pushing to the other corners, the odd small mark and minor pushing/rubbing/fading to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of pages dyed red have the odd small patch/patch of fading. Pages little tanned. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges sand bottoms. Couple of words and date written in pen inside back board. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
