Near fine book in very good dust jacket. First American Edition. Front board panel has a colorful illustration and black lettering on cream paper covered boards. Black lettering on spine. Tiny bump to front corner at tail of board spine. Text block threads are a bit loose. Internally clean. Dust jacket is a bit sunned and soiled overall and with a couple of small stains. Folds are creased and scuffed but not rubbed through. Front corner at head of jacket spine has a 3/8" closed vertical tear along the front spine fold, and with an adjacent 1 7/8" diagonal crease to the upper edge of front panel and a further adjacent closed vertical tear of 1/16". Edges at head and tail of jacket spine are chipped and rubbed. Upper right corner of front panel has an old piece of tape, there is not tear beneath it, it may have been used as a price sticker. All fore-edge corners are rubbed, the most being on the upper corner of the back panel with loss of 1/8". The lower corner of the front inside flap has diagonal clip of 2 3/8" by 1".
