A broadsheet four stanza poem printed on cream card with a linocut illustration by Jo Spaul. 10½" x 5". A broadsheet in Fine condition, now in a clear, archival-quality, protective display pocket. Ralph Hodgson (1871-1962) was an English poet, very popular in his time as an early member of the Georgian School of poets which included Rupert Brooke, Robert Graves, A.E. Houseman, Siegfried Sassoon and Walter de la Mare. In 1912 he founded a small press 'At the Sign of the Flying Frame', with the illustrator Claud Lovat Fraser and the writer and journalist, Holbrook Jackson.
