1902 Weber & Fields' Program Featuring Hoity Toity Staff Written

January 20, 1902 program featuring the comedy team of Weber and Fields starring in the Broadway production of Hoity Toity. Stunning multicolored front panel and color back panel ad for Belmont Clear Havana cigars. Includes dozens of period ads, many illustrated, casts of characters and a seating chart. Weber and Fields was a Broadway theatre located in Manhattan on 29th Street near the corner of 29th and Broadway going towards Sixth Avenue. It was the resident theatre of comedy duo Joe Weber and Lew Fields from 1896 through 1904, the pair starring in numerous original high energy musical farces. Long since demolished, the theatre also featured an early Florenz Ziegfeld Jr. production in 1904, predating the Follies. Scarce. 36 pp. 10 1/4" x 8 1/8". Tight, unmarked copy with light shelf wear, several small tears along margins of front panel and a near invisible reinforcement of fold along versos of panels with archival Filmoplast. A presentable copy of a now nearly unobtainable NYC collectible. Photographs of or additional information about this item are available on request. All inquiries answered promptly.
