On Translation Of Laws And Regulations In China

This book provides readers with a new angle to understand the progress of legal construction in China, by making a comprehensive and interdisciplinary analysis of the translation of laws and regulations in China from the perspective of national governance. Although there is a growing awareness of the social functions of translation among scholars at home and abroad, there still lacks systematic and comprehensive studies on translation of Chinese laws and regulations.
