An ex-libris plate on the front pastedown belonging to the 'Earl of Breadalbane', a Scottish title potentially referring to the Third Lord of the line. The contents are in excellent condition for a book from the 1700s, with a few heavily darkened edges to the front and last handful of pages before the textblock becomes uniform. Print is bold and the pages are clear and nicely squared off with a tight binding. A wonderfully preserved copy that hardly shows it's 260 year lifespan. Contains a section on the history of Russia.
