'Piercing the Corporate Veil in the People's Republic of China': This book analyses the highly controversial requirements for piercing the corporate veil under Chinese law. Using a methodological pluralistic approach and focussing on a dogmatic analysis, it also considers the legal-historical perspective and forensic practice. The topic is of considerable practical and dogmatic importance, not least due to the judicial conference protocol published by the Supreme People's Court at the beginning of November 2019 and the codified extension of the scope of the piercing of the corporate veil doctrine through the reform of the Chinese Company Law at the end of December 2023.
