A dive into emotions. The perfumer: Born into a family of perfumers in Grasse, Jean-Claude Ellena learned his trade at the age of 17. From Grasse to Paris, via New York and Geneva, he frequented the most prestigious laboratories in which he saw himself as an autodidact. Very influenced by Edmond Roudnitska, he writes short and unconcentrated formulas to reinforce the subtlety and expressiveness of his compositions.
