Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A handsomley bound set of three books without date remarks, likely not first edition. Boards are ornatley dressed in half silk half cloth with a cherub design and gilt decorated about the spine. The autocrat volume has seen a little water marking to it's front cover that the other volumes have escaped. The slip case (of matching design to boards) in this instance is scuffed and has seen a little damp but has done an admirable job of protecting its contents. The end papers seem a little stained, perhaps by articles laid in the books. The books retain their gilt page edges with few marks or scuffs save a little spotting at the head end. Clean, fresh, bright contents troubled only by one or two marks. Binding remains good and tight. Copies present very well and would make a handsome adornment to the book shelf of someone who appreciates fine bindings.
